Did you know there are salons popping up, that are mixing up fresh foods as hair treatments?! It’s so fun to see people willing to pay money for a DIY treatment. We’re appreciating what nature can do, moving away from thinking that it needs to come in a bottle to be any good.
Inspired by these salons, I came up with hair smoothies that you can do from home! I hope you have fun with them and make it a weekly ritual to care for and love yourself, naturally!In Your Body
First, remember that beauty comes from inside.
To start, here’s a smoothie that you can drink everyday to support healthy hair, skin and beauty! This smoothie has everything your hair needs to grow strong and healthy:- The avocado gives you essential fatty acids, which prevent hair loss and promotes hair growth
- The spinach and dark leafy greens give you protein and iron, important for strong hair
- The banana gives you potassium, which if you’re deficient in can cause hair-loss!
- The strawberries give you Vit C to help your body absorb the iron
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 banana (frozen is best)
- 1 handful strawberries (frozen is best)
- 1-2 cups dark leafy greens: baby spinach, romaine, kale
- 2 cups of water
- juice of 1/2 lemon (to brighten up the drink)
- in a blender, combine all the ingredients
- blend 20 seconds
- drink up!
