1.LINE : Choose a liner that is close to your
own lip colour, not the shade of your lipstick. Outline edges while holding the
pencil at an angle, and line from the outer corners toward the centre. Then use
soft, featherlike strokes to fill in the entire lip. Finally, dab with a sponge
before applying lipstick.
2. FILL : Dark and matte colours in
particular should be precisely applied. Start at the center of your mouth and
blend outward with a lip brush. Blot lips with a tissue, dust with translucent
powder, and then apply a second coat. Or for a casual look with just a hint or
colour, lightly dab lipstick on with your finger.
3. FINISH : Paint around the perimeter of your
lip line with a bit of Concealer to prevent colour from bleeding. To thin out
the colour, blend a waxy balm on top of lipstick. A transparent gloss on top
will create a brighter shine. To make lips look fuller, apply a dab of shimmery
gloss to the center of your bottom lip.
